Oro Valley Circuit Race P/B Rutledge Dental

About

The Oro Valley Circuit Race p/b Rutledge Dental has been reimagined for 2025 with a shorter, more intense course that promises thrilling competition for racers and spectators alike. The 2.8-mile (4.5 km) circuit winds through the breathtaking beauty of Naranja Park, combining challenging climbs, technical descents, and incredible views.

The centerpiece of the course is the 1-mile climb up Musette Road, with an average grade of 3%, including short bursts of up to 7%. This climb will test riders’ strength and determination lap after lap. Following the climb, riders will face a fast and technical descent down Monterra Vista, culminating in one of the most exciting and technical turns of the race at Naranja and Monterra Vista.

With each lap delivering 190 feet of climbing, this shortened but more demanding course will push the riders to their limits. Whether you're a competitor or a spectator, this race promises high-stakes action and incredible views of Oro Valley’s stunning landscape.

Spectator Information

How to Get the Best View of the Action
The Oro Valley Circuit Race offers spectacular opportunities to watch the race from several vantage points along the course. Spectators can follow the entire race thanks to Oro Valley’s extensive shared-use paths. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Prime Viewing Locations:
    • Start/Finish Line: Positioned on Musette Road just south of Tangerine, you’ll be able to see riders tackle the climb and push through the final stretch. We will also have live announcers throughout the day, who will bring insight and intrigue to every race.
    • Naranja and Monterra Vista Corner: A fantastic corner where you can witness riders navigate a sharp, technical turn after a rapid descent. This is one of the most exciting spots on the course!
  • Parking:
    • Oro Valley Library: This is the designated spectator parking area, which is a short walk from Naranja Park.
    • Naranja Park: There will be no parking in Naranja Park, so we recommend using the Oro Valley Library or (even better) biking or walking using the shared use paths.
  • Viewing Tips:
    • The best way to see the race is by using the shared-use paths in Oro Valley. Nearly the entire course is visible from multiple vantage points along these paths, making it easy to get a front-row view of the action without worrying about parking hassles.
    • Be sure to arrive early to grab the best spots, especially at key corners!
