Founded by two avid cyclists—The Meteor is a one-of-a-kind café, bike shop, and gathering place built around the things they love most:
Espresso | Champagne | Chain Lube.
We hope to see you at the 38th edition of the Tucson Bicycle Classic. A Time Trial, a Criterium, a Circuit Race Course, and the same beautiful Road Race course makes for a great four days of racing. The 2025 race had 577 riders from 41 different states and 5 countries. Come see what brings so many people to Tucson for this early season race.
New in 2026 is an expansion of the Criterium to its own day and all classes of racers.

The Marana Time Trial is a short, flat 4.5 mile / 7.2 km point-to-point course. The course again uses a new section of the Chuck Huckelberry Loop passing by two Marana parks and beautiful mountain vistas. This prologue time trial will create the first leaders of the General Classification. This will be Eddie Merckx style for all riders.

The 20.5-mile (33 km) loop circles the mine near Helmet Peak, a stretch of road long known to locals for its wide-open desert views, and smooth pavement. It blends everything riders train for: a steady climb that sets the tone, miles of rolling terrain to test depth and teamwork, fast sweeping descents, and wide-open flats where the pace never lets up. It’s a true Tucson classic—reborn for race day.

At 2.8 miles / 4.5 km, this year’s circuit brings back the features riders loved last year—rolling terrain, clean lines, and a punchy uphill finish on Musette Drive that produced some of the most thrilling finales of the weekend. For 2026, we’ve enhanced the experience on and off the bike. Better spectator access and a new finish-line beer garden make this the most welcoming and exciting version of the course yet. A true finale-worthy stage—fast, tactical, and unforgettable.
